The Road Out West

This wonderfully musical chart in the style of Pat Metheny features a light rock/straight 8th groove as a foundation for a beautiful, soulful tune that conjures images of a lonesome road. Inventive harmonies and contrapuntal techniques provide interesting parts for all sections. Written solos are provided for guitar (or vibes, trumpet) and alto sax (or tenor).
