Named after the legendary Harlem nightclub where Bebop was born, this medium swing chart speaks the language of Bebop from the first measure to the last, but at the very accessible tempo of 168 bpm. Trumpets and altos state the melody echoing Bird and Diz. Solo space is provided for alto sax and trumpet. A challenging shout chorus follows leading to the grand finale.
