Based on the chord changes for Autumn Leaves, this easy-going samba puts a new spin on the classic jazz standard. After the melody is presented, an ensemble montuna section follows where the figure is handed off across the entire group. Written solos for piano and alto sax or guitar are provided along with chord changes for young improvisers. After an 8 bar drum solo the shout section drives to a powerful finale.
