Riff the Wonderdog
An easy 12 bar blues in F for the young ensemble that focuses on the essential swing eighth note rhythm. The chart opens with a 24 bar piano solo (written solo provided) followed by the melody riff which is passed throughout the horns. Two choruses of sax soli lead into the solo section where written solos are also provided. A 24 bar shout chorus gets everyone swinging. Trumpet to written G. Trombone to F. Piano and bass parts are written out.
